Liquid drinks, whether cold or hot, are one of the most important means for the body to overcome the increase or decrease in the temperature of the surrounding atmosphere. In times of extreme heat, a person does not find the pleasure more beautiful than that obtained by sipping a cold drink that turns off the heat of his body, and also in winter, hot drinks, such as tea, for example, are the best solution to get rid of the severe cold weather. But with age, especially if a person exceeds the age of 40, there are some drinks that nutritionists advise to stay away from.

And according to eatthis, drinks are the fastest way to gain more weight, with liquid calories accounting for 22% of your daily caloric intake.

Researchers at Harvard University and Boston found that women who consumed sugar-sweetened beverages such as soda, added 358 calories per day and gained weight over an 8-year period.

Drinks that should never be consumed after the age of 40:

1- Coconut water with flavors

Plain coconut water is a fine option, but when you add added sweeteners and fruit flavors, it is often a beverage that is more sugar-packed than an actual coconut.

2- Lemon juice

Lemon juice can be high in calories and sugar, and excessive drinking may have a negative effect on the metabolism process.

3- Yogurt drink

Yogurt contains probiotics, which are important for maintaining gut health, but when added to large amounts of sugar, it is harmful.

4- Iced tea

Regular tea contains antioxidants that help increase metabolism, prevent the formation of new fat cells, fight diseases, and reduce the risk of stroke, but not all types of tea contain these benefits, as a study found that you should drink 20 bottles of iced tea to get the same amount. It is one of the antioxidants found in one cup of homemade tea, plus this tea is full of sugar and is not safe.

5- Diet soda

All diet soft drinks contain aspartame, which is an artificial sweetener that was initially developed to aid in weight loss but has been found to have the opposite effect.

6- Coffee -Mate

These Coffee whiteners  are unsafely high in calories and sugar.

7- Orange juice

Although it is a natural juice and full of vitamin C, it is also packed with sugar and free of any nutrients like fiber or protein.

8- Energy drinks

These expensive drinks may give you an energy boost, but they are packed with harmful sweeteners and are more corrosive to your teeth than regular soda.
